Geoffrey Jean-Baptiste

Geoffrey Jean-Baptiste is a Director, Director of Photography and Steadicam Operator based in New York City. He began his career at 18 as a personal assistant for a filmmaker living and working out of the Chelsea Hotel.

He has since spent the last thirteen years on hundreds of sets including major motion pictures, Commercials and TV productions, starting as a production assistant and working his way up and through the camera department. After learning how to operate the Steadicam from legends such as Jerry Holloway and its inventor Garrett Brown, Geoffrey continues their legacy of diligent dedication to work ethic and technique.

In 2011, Geoffrey founded Authorized Dealer Films, a film production company thats delivers authentic and high-quality creative content while producing intrepid, original, long and short form narratives. Geoffrey’s genuine intentions reverberate through his creative choices and an aesthetic that amplifies story-telling in it’s purest form.
